Bruno Migliari
Born in Rio de Janeiro with Italian roots, Bruno is a versatile bassist, composer, arranger, and occasional vocalist who thrives in Jazz, Brazilian Popular Music, and Pop/Rock scenes. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Double Bass and a master’s degree in Music. Since 2001, he has been a bassist and vocalist for acclaimed Brazilian artist Frejat and has collaborated with prominent figures such as Simone, Ivan Lins, Ana Carolina, Maria Gadú, Milton Nascimento, and Marcos Valle, among others. His international collaborations include artists like Lokua Kanza (Congo/France), Susanna Stivali (Italy), and Avi Wisnia (USA).
In addition to releasing two albums – Amicizia (with Chester Harlan) and Bicho Músico – as well as the e-book Sight Reading for Bassists. Bruno is active in his own projects, including the band Pedigree Dogs and the jazz quartet Notre Jam. He has also worked as a bassist for TV shows such as The Voice Brasil (2012) and The Four Brasil (2020) and served as a bassist and musical director for Claro Q É Rock (2005–2006).
